My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Humanitarian Aid & Rescue Project, Fort Worth, TX, USA
As a volunteer and HARP team member, I am constantly enamored by HARP’s level of care and passion for providing as much aid and assistance as possible. The individuals of HARP work countless hours, often going with very little (or going without any) sleep. They collaborate closely with NGOs, non-profit organizations, and other agencies to achieve the utmost aid for the people and animals in need.
I joined HARP in 2017 when Hurricane Harvey struck Houston and Southeast Texas. Harvey earned itself the title of “costliest tropical storm on record” and tied with Hurricane Katrina at $125+ billion in damage. We performed copious boat rescues, searches, recoveries, supply drops, diaper deliveries, and more. HARP then continued into Florida, aiding those affected by Hurricane Irma. We saved small animals and delivered goods to families in need. We set up supply distributions and brought smiles to countless faces. We made an extremely positive impact and my inspiration for humanitarian work grew exponentially. I never looked back.
HARP prides itself on its efficiency – we cut through red tape and travel to places others cannot. But until you have met Burke Bryant, spoken with HARP team members, or worked alongside HARP in a time of disaster, no words can describe how well this team is run. It is truly a pleasure and privilege to support this organization, in every way.
