There is no more direct lifeline for horses in trouble than VVER. Any donation to Marlene goes to feeding, recovering, and hauling horses that would be killed if she didn't step in during the eleventh hour to find safe, forever homes for them. It is unusual to find a person who so selflessly dedicates herself to the safety of others, and that is exactly what Marlene does.
