I am a volunteer at the CRRC and have so enjoyed the work. This service fills a serious need in the community by providing food, financial aid, diapers, medical supplies and equipment to residents of the surrounding area. Both individuals and businesses in the community not only quickly respond to calls for donations to fill gaps on the shelves but often just step up and donate services, such as car repair, in order to help clients become more self sufficient and independent. The full-time staff are dedicated and kind, inspiring those around them to be better and serve better. Everyone who enters is met with a smile and wished a 'great day' on their way out. I always look forward to spending time each week at the pantry because being around such a positive environment lifts my spirits as much as it does for the clients they serve.
