Can't say enough about this new organization. I'd observed them helping others with trapping, TNR, building shelters, and coaching and then had the opportunity to take advantage of their trap library and advice just recently.

I spotted an intact male stray on my block and knew that I should get him neutered. I had never trapped before and I had a broken foot to boot, so I was limited in mobility as well as hesitant and intimidated. However, Aine Doley and the moderators on the Catadelphia Facebook page assured me it was not difficult. I picked up a trap, got a trap tutorial from Aine, received instruction on what to do at ACCT, and took the trap home. The next time I saw the cat, I brought out food and set up the trap as directed on my porch - and he walked right in! I got a neighbor to help me carry the trap to my car and I was off to ACCT for TNR with Stretch. It was ridiculously easy, but I would never have tried on my own without the assurances and coaching I received through Catadelphia.

Four weeks later, after a period of him living on my porch, Stretch became friendly enough to bring inside. I turned to the organization again for advice on fostering, as I intended to try to place him with an adopter. Long story short, I am now registered as a foster with a rescue, but Stretch is happily a permanent part of my family!
