I volunteered here as an EMT for two weeks and had a great experience! I would recommend if you are looking for volunteer opportunities over "voluntourism". This clinic sees a lot of trauma for those looking to learn, and there are numerous opportunities to jump in for those who are already skilled. Coming with a bit of Creole or French speaking ability would be very helpful but is not vital. The genuine mission of this non profit, as well as the fair cost to volunteer, ease of sign up, engaging experience, and accommodating/friendly people involved make this nonprofit highly recommended. I hope to return next year!
