My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for EALgreen, Wheaton, IL, USA
Each year I write multiple applications for scholarships. I strive to earn as many awards as I can so I can decrease my debt load. On paper I don’t qualify for a scholarship program like EALgreen’s and I currently attend a public university where it isn’t offered, but I am delighted that my friends at smaller colleges receive these opportunities. I’m also a big believer in green solutions—I truly worry about the future of the planet because I only too clearly understand the realities and negative consequences of global warming and climate change. I am studying to become an engineer to combat these outcomes, and I’m glad to know there are nonprofits like EAL working to solve these problems as well.
