I have been a resident of South Florida for over 30 years. One cannot live in the area without seeing the vast numbers of feral cats.
Before I met one of Adopt a Cat's volunteers I'd been feeding and caring for ferals for many years. Later an Adopt A Cat volunteer gave me food to feed these cats and even got several of them into their shelter where they were cared for and eventually adopted into loving homes.
It's been a pleasure to volunteer for Adopt a Cat. Everyone here is genuinely concerned for our at-risk feline friends.
