We all would like enrich our lives doing good and finding meaning in our day to day life. I found this in being a CASA Volunteer. It’s been almost a year since I got the call and accepted the case. It was difficult at times, but it was well worth it. This child needed a voice. Someone who was neutral to all involved and focused on the child. She needed someone who would make several trips to doctor appointments and go home and research her illnesses. She needed someone to ask difficult questions and stay strong. She needed a voice who would never give up on her. The experience enriched my life and I’m grateful for it. I’m very thankful for having a patient and understanding CASA supervisor. She guided me and at times just listened. Thank-you Christine.
