American Bird Conservancy is the only organization making an attempt to deal with the problem of the proliferation of feral cats . Feral cats kill millions of birds each year. They are mounting a campaign to encourage pet owners to keep their cats safe and indoors. They also are trying to address the problem of large feral cat colonies that are feed by local people who do not understand the staggering effect this is having on own native bird populations.
They deserve funding to expand the excellent work they are doing.
