h2 Empower is a far reaching, committed, non-profit that has dedicated itself to improving the lives of women, children and the under-served in Ethiopia and Burundi. My family and I have volunteered in their many drives to create libraries and student scholarships, improve classroom equipment and settings, instruct teachers, librarians, create work opportunities for women, and bring the most basic of elements--clean drinking water-- to schools and villages.
When I view their videos and photos, and hear back from people I personally know, who have gone to Ethiopia along with h2 Empower's creator, Helen Boxwill, I realize how great the need is, how much of an impact h2 Empower has made, and how grateful the recipients are for this much needed help. Helen Boxwill is a leader who has always been involved in education and helping people. She has vision and has made a remarkable difference in so many people's lives. I will continue to support h2 Empower.

I am proud to say that my family and I have supported H2Empower, for probably over a decade, by volunteering with the collection and loading of books for their library, assisting with card cataloging, computer work, creative assistance at fun-raisers, financial support and more. It's hard to imagine all the many ways H2Empower is helping to positively shape the future of individuals, especially young girls, their families and communities, and by extension, ourselves--since they are part of our global community. Piece by piece, this wonderful non-profit has dedicated itself to building literacy and education, water development, sustainable living practices, teachers, training, and other basics to those in dire need. I am also thrilled that my own daughter 's childhood was positively impacted by the many opportunities she had volunteering for this visionary organization.
