Our daughter received her Binkeez two years ago before one of her major surgeries. It has been a continuous source of comfort since then. She says it is as soft as a unicorn's nose. We are very grateful for this gift of love. It is so much more than a blanket.

Our daughter, Grace was born with a rare type of germ cell tumor and receives beads through her oncology clinic. Beads of Courage provides a positive way for her to tell her story and lets her feel the true weight and significance of what she has been through. Knowing that she will earn beads helps her get through challenging tests and procedures, and bead deliveries are a bright spot during hospital stays.

The organization also provides a sense of community for members and their parents though social media and hospital activities. Many of the friends Grace has met during our stays at Ronald McDonald House are members.

Grace says that her beads are made of courage!
