Review for Humanitarian Aid & Rescue Project, Fort Worth, TX, USA
I’ve been volunteering with HARP for the past few years! I couldn’t be more supportive and passionate about this nonprofit organization! I’ve vounteered with HARP in Haiti multiple times after hurricane Matthew. HARP was the first response to a remote village named Jabouin, in which our team set up make shift hospitals, organized air drops of food, rebuilt schools and orphanages, water purification, and truly left the community in higher spirits. I am very passionate about children, and while injuries wounds were being treated I was able to keep the little ones smiling with bubbles, balloons, crafts, etc. The founder of HARP, and leader of the Haiti Trips m, Burke Bryant is a wonderful man. He inspires me with his passion to make an impact, and go to the remote destinations that most non profits will not go. He is fearless, yet wise in his pursuit to help people during natural disasters! I have always felt safe in his command. Beyond grateful for the Humanitarian Aid and Rescue Project.
