This is a great organization that works to educate local government officials and the public about the unspeakable cruelty that exists in puppy mills. They work to change legislation.
They also provide monetary support to animal rescue shelters who take in sick puppy mill dogs by funding medical care and give dogs a second chance at having a healthy happy life. Their work helps protect the consumer by providing information to help stop the sale of sick dogs which is heartbreaking and costly for the consumer when they purchase a dog thinking it is healthy and comes from a real breeder.
