Volunteering with HARP was an incredible experience. Our team traveled to Haiti to help locals in remote areas that were devastated by Hurricane Matthew. We distributed food and medical supplies, provided medical care, cleared debris, helped animals, brought donations to a local orphanage, rebuild a school and worked with the locals to devise future sustainable plans and projects to ensure their wellbeing. The founder of HARP and leader of our trip, Burke Bryant, is extremely knowledgeable, fearless and proactive when it comes to disaster missions. I felt very safe under his supervision in this dangerous region and confident in his abilities. I am very excited for the next relief project I am able to partake in.
