I have been attending the International Encaustic Conference at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill since 2014. It is an amazing conference with high class speakers and demonstrations. Every June I take the ideas and techniques back to my studio in Canada. The conference is well organized and the facilities where the workshops are held are above par. The staff is warm and knowledgeable. I also have attended a 2 week residency at Edgewood Farm and that experience that I had under Michael David will last a lifetime. The center offers diverse classes for the beginner to the advance. A wonderful location just 15 minutes away from Provincetown in Massachusetts. This center, under the director of Cherie Mittenthal, is a place where I will always always be welcomed.
