Review for Life Unlimited of Virginia Inc, Rapidan, VA, USA
I’ve volunteered for rescues since Hurricane Katrina (2005). I’d heard of Life Unlimited of Virginia (Rikki’s Refuge, Rikki’s) from fellows. In 2007, I adopted a Rikki’s kitten. Within a year or two, I started helping with the great pumpkin haul, transporting leftover Halloween pumpkins to the refuge which helps feed farm animals through the winter.
Kerry and her crew run the place on a shoestring. It has been especially hard this year because of the Covid-19 crisis. Financial assistance is critical, welcomed, and always graciously accepted. I highly recommend Rikki’s Refuge as a recipient of your gift.

Kerry operates what I know as Rikki’s Refuge (Life Unlimited of Virginia) on a shoestring and has done for years. I heard about her “farm somewhere in central Virginia” from rescue colleagues. I got to know Kerry and her critters after I adopted my Weasley (originally Bruno) as a 4-1/2 month old kitten. For several years I participated in The Great Pumpkin haul” after Halloween, collecting unsold pumpkins and hauling them to Rikki’s to feed the non-carnivores during the winter. I now donate (less than I would like, due to life circumstances). Please help fund so Rikki’s can continue its stellar work. Thank you.
