When I first started volunteering as a reader for OWL Radio thirteen years ago, I looked forward to utilizing my skills as a retired reading specialist for the benefit of our low-vision listeners. Little did I know that I would be the recipient of abundant blessings through my contact with our supportive and competent staff and, indirectly, with listeners who respond to our broadcasts in writing and through phone messages, Many volunteers help OWL Radio to provide a much-valued service to our listeners who struggle with blindness or low vision. I'm proud to be one of them!
