My introduction to Medicine Horse Project was through a friend who was a volunteer and is also now a successful adopter of a wonderful horse. She knew of my familiarity with, and love of horses so she suggested we (my better half and I) attend an open house, have a look around, and meet the folks who run the place.

Fast forward 6+ months and turns out it was truly a blessing to have become associated with the Medicine Horse Project. As a regular volunteer being there weekly or more, it provides me with a unique perspective to their efforts and mission, which has created what will likely become lasting relationships.

Their wholehearted dedication to the animals they serve is nothing short of amazing, as is the continued positive impact they strive have on the horse community. I couldn’t possibly find a better or more deserving non profit to donate my time and efforts to. Rarely can we find the type of people and effective organization as Medicine Horse Project represents.
