The Assistance League of Kansas City helps enrich lives of many, and mine is one of those lives. In the world we are currently living with the greed, selfishness, and rancor we see all around us, the Assistance League of Kansas City brings meaning to my life as I get the chance to help kids from schools all around the area I work at the ReSale Shop which funds our programs and am proud to work with other volunteers. I am one of many, all volunteers. Even our shop manager is a volunteer. Working at the shop has enriched my life personally as I have worked with wonderful people, fellow volunteers and customers alike. Volunteering at Operation School Bell has been one of my greatest pleasures. I help children select brand new clothes purchased with the proceeds of our shop. I will never forget one little boy I was helping who, as he changed into new clothes in a dressing room, called out, "This is the best day of my life!" I am so grateful to be part of this organization!
