United Midcoast Charities, Inc. has played an important role in serving the elders of Knox County with home delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) and an enhanced service program for Meals on Wheels recipients (Home to Me). Their support, including financial, over the years has played a critical role in MCH, Inc.'s ability to provide these services to those in need. Over the past several years UMC's organizational evolution has been one based on best practices, including broad community involvement, outreach, and organizational transparency. Their leadership and collaborative role is key to the well being of those living in the region served.
