The Badet Family live not far from our house. We met the parents and the children.
15 years-old Nour Badet barely spoke English or knew anything about the US when she came as a Syrian refugee. Karam Foundation supported Nour to attend camps in Connecticut during six weeksfor two years in a row. This camp greatly helped Nour to pick up with English and learn about American culture. Karam Foundation made a big difference in the life of Nour. She is now an active straight-A girl in high school
