ENF is a story of heroes. There is few things more horrifying for a parent than a Cancer diagnosis for your child. This is amplified when your resources are constrained. In addition to the flagship "Ride with Emilio" program that ensures that NO child misses their treatments do to a lack of clean and safe transportation; ENF also provides resource centers to help with the mountains of paperwork that is required. other overlooked projects like the knitting program provide for a place for peer-based networking so that these mothers do not need to walk this road alone.

In summary, the heroes that are staff with ENF spend their days trying to find ways to ease the burden that these families face. ENF is focused on helping parents on that journey with their child's Cancer until the day that this horrible disease is eliminated entirely!

The ENF team continues to support the families DESPITE the COVID challenges. Helping these kids and their families deal with the journey that their Cancer diagnosis has demanded provides some much-needed financial and stress relief. While the transportation is, of course, incredibly valuable - the love and compassion that comes with it is particularly comforting!

While perhaps not the most glamorous goals, ENF is focused on simply helping children get the cancer treatments they need for their best chance of a positive outcome.

While often heartbreaking to watch the challenges of these kids and their families, it is rewarding to knew that ENF is doing their part to make the world a better place!

The Emilio Nares Foundation has been serving the families of Rady's Children's Hospital in San Diego for a long time. Unfortunately, the need to support families during the journey with their child's cancer is not something regional and as they grow to support the families of Riverside County, Orange County, and now LA County; the same group of loving staff needs more resources to provide the essential transportation services that help these families fight the battle.

The Foundation needs your support to n serve this mission.

I have been working with the ENF board since the spring of 2018. Although the cause is as vital and appealing as it has ever been, the organization continues to improve the operations, partnerships, and services needed to serve the families stricken by this disease.

I am proud to represent ENF in the Orange County area and to spread the word more broadly to raise awareness of the need and to help find additional support to deliver to the mission of the Emilio Nares Foundation.
