Review for 4 Paws 1 Heart, Saint Clair Shores, MI, USA
Meet Jimmy Junior. Jimmy was rescued from a farm in Armada in July 2018. He was in terrible shape, underweight, and anemic from severe flea infestation. 4Paws1Heart graciously offered to help me with Jimmy Junior, and 21 other cats that needed to be sterilized . Of the 22 cats at this farm, 10 were kittens. Six of the kittens were treated for flea infestation, received their vaccines, were sterilized, and have gone on to be adopted into their forever homes. Sadly, four kittens did not make it due to the anemia from the fleas and from severe upper respiratory issues.
Out of the 12 adult cats, eight were treated for fleas, vaccinated, and sterilized. The farmer owner was educated about the proper treatment and feeding schedule for the more feral cats that were not able to be adopted. She is visited monthly and is given an enormous bag of cat food, and the cats at the barn are now fat and healthy. The remaining four adult cats had outgoing personalities, and were able to be adopted. Jimmy Junior was one of the lucky ones. He was being fostered by a wonderful lady at Dirty Paws Pet Salon in Davison, Michigan. One of the groomers there fell in love with him, and he is being adopted into a loving home and will have an orange tabby baby sister. He will also get to travel to work with her to play with his buddies that he made while he was being fostered. None of this would have been possible without 4Paws1Heart! Thank you so much for your devotion to helping animals!
