United Midcoast Charities provides financial support for a number of non-profits in Knox and Waldo Counties here in Maine. The financial grants provided help a diverse group of non-profits toward successfully addressing their individual missions. United Midcoast Charities primary focus is on four (4) core or need areas… Food, Housing, Health & Safety and Economic Security. The needs within our small community are great and not always visible. Over the years, I have witnessed UMC’s progress and the organizations ability to help serve a greater good. I applaud UMC’s success and marvel at the passion volunteers and leaders within our Non-Profit Communities exhibit in the course of their important work.

Camden, Maine based UNITED MIDCOAST CHARITIES has made tremendous progress in serving the needs of the non profit community in our local communities. The fund raising, vetting process, grant reviews and award process are all well planned and considered. A wonderful example of best practices directed at results.

The year has been a story of successes for United Midcoast Charities, here in Camden Maine, following the initial development of our 2018-2021 strategic plan and our taking the necessary steps toward its implementation. The organizational changes have all been positive putting us in a better position to serve the needs our organization and our clients. Great progress on all fronts.
