Barrel of Monkeys is the creative, crazy fun way to volunteer! Showing 3rd and 4th grade public school students that writing is fun in a zany way that will help them flex their imagination muscles AND feel more confident about their communication skills - Gorgeous.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
students' journals. When you read their stories at the end of the residency, you can see how much fun they're having doing what some may consider a dreadful chore - writing. Also, Barrel of Monkeys puts on public performances of dramatic interpretations of the children's writing. It's inspiring.
