This organization does what it says it does. They have a national reach to combat wounded veterans and gold star family members, but still have a home grown connection to those that they support. Their programs are very impactful and if they cannot directly help, they will take the time to find the resources and other organizations that will be able to help. They follow up and are there to ensure that individuals and families that take the time to register and are honest with their situations are properly cared for. Staff is small and paid below industry averages. They truly do what they do because they believe in their mission and their priority is to help others. Pay checks are not their driver.
