Not only does Fabretto meet daily needs of children, youth and families for education and nutrition in rural Nicaragua, but it develops local leaders, teachers and community workers--the best kind of development work! In addition it welcomes and hosts work teams and visitors to help create bonds of understanding and cross-cultural relationships. They communicate their work, goals and achievements clearly and with greatest respect for the people of Nicaragua.

A local staff team responded to our church's request to help with a pilgrimage to follow in the footsteps of Father Fabretto. With great care and dedication they helped us achieve our goal--building bridges of relationships and a sustaining connection.
This is a truly excellent organization doing amazing work in difficult circumstances.
