The event titled "Don't Let Success Slip Away - Secure the bag" was powerful event for women. I especially liked how the guest speaker, Timoji Jackson, explained that women undermine themselves when negotiating salary or fees for services. We have been taught to shortchange our worth while men will be more adamant about not negotiating what they charge for their time. The talk was followed up by a financial activity on knowing money habitudes. Participants walked away with an understanding of how they spend money and the strengths and challenges behind these money personality types.
