I adopted two cats from this wonderfuly nonprofit organization. Two young sisters. They joined my household and from the beginning have been highly social, a strong indicator that they were loved and well cared for while they were fostered. They are my nearly constant companions and have greatly enriched my life.
They love to play, both with each other and with us. They greatly enjoy the stairs in my house and they can be heard chasing each other up and down the stairs.
I've quite a few cat trees which they love to curl up in while I work on the computer or watch tv.
When I've been sick the girls guard me until I'm better.
And at night they tend to make sure I go to bed at the appropriate (according to them!) time before they go off to play.
Everyone who visits gets greeted and checked out by the two cats and there are frequent demands to be cuddled. One or both of them is generally near by.
Early socialization is very important and this organization did an amazing job prepping the two sisters to adopt me -- Yes I may have adopted them, but they have also adopted me.
