Review for Badger Run Wildlife Rehab, Klamath Falls, OR, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Badger Run is always there and willing to help wildl5in need. They have worked hard to overcome challenges presented with the ongoing Avian Flu epidemic. The have put practices in place to protect the Educational Ambassadors, provide rescue and rehab services to new patients, and continue serving the public by providing tours- with the proper safety precautions.

The tours are informative and geared very well to the audience

Badger Run is our GO TO recommendation for visitors to te area

I've been involved with Badger run for a few years. I help where I can.

i cannot believe the dedication volunteers that provide care for their ambassadors and patients have! Up at a moments notice to pickup and injured eagle - hawk - owl - or anything the government will let us rescue.
Drive a 100 miles for a hawk - meet up with forest service, dept of wildlife, state police, local police, citizens, and other rehabers to help injured wildlife.

it's awesome to see & feel the joy when we can release a recovered bird!!!!
And you really see the caring and compassion when they the best option for the creature is to let god have them back.

They make every effort to open the ambassador side to all - they've made many improvements to welcome our mobility challenges guests.

They also work with local schools on wildlife education, they provide a means for high school seniors to complete their public service requirements- some have found a new love pursue education

We also work with scouting groups and have been the recipient of Eagle Scout Projects.

I love Badger Run!

I have had the pleasure of volunteering at Badger Run for a couple of years now. I help out with things that need done - but not directly with ambassadors or patients.

It is such a wnderful experience to see the wonder and joy on young, and old, faces as our very volunteers share dtails about the varioys birds we encounter.
Also to see the trust that our ambassadors have in their caregivers is amazing. Knowing the time it has taken to work with these creatures really shows the dedication these caregivers have for both the ambassadors and patients.
I have the priviledge of seeing the care and deicatiin these people have for the various patients that come - the loving care provided - and trying to not imprint on these patients so they can ultimately go back to their home.
Nothing turns a bad day good like walking among the ambassadors !
