Review for FIV Cat Rescue, Fort Bragg, CA, USA
I have 5 kitties and I take care of 2 feral kitties on my property. Two of my Kitties have "feline aids" and FIV cat rescue gave me so much information and hope for them both. We also talked about a Catio I am building for my little guys and they also gave me good feedback. I love this organization!
Thank you for your big heart in adding these 2 FIV kitties into your Clowder. Keep in mind FIV is NOT Feline AIDS. Some vets use that term to help explain FIV, even though it is incorrect. That term (Feline AIDS) was put in place in the 80s when the Human Aids scare was going on. Medical doctors and researchers have corrected this for humans because they know that HIV is not Human AIDS. Some Vets have not bothered correcting the way they describe FIV which is keeping the myth alive. Thanks again.
