Village2Village Project is a very unique organization that has provided support and encouragement to the village of Serere in Uganda for over 20 years. I have been fortunate to be able to visit the project multiple times and see the great work that is happening. The cultural sensitivity combined with grace based love for the children is truly inspiring. As a sponsor of multiple children over the years as well as medically fragile guardians, I have been able to see the hope that the organization provides to the families in the village. I am grateful for the work of Village2Village Project!

I have been so fortunate to be involved with Village2Village Project over the last 20 years. The mission of educating and supporting emerging leaders is so crucial and is bringing change to the Serere District of Uganda. My fist sponsored child is now a successful adult who is giving back to his community. The program is Uganda centric and culturally relevant which is key for my involvement. I look forward to another 20 years!

Village2Village is an extraordinary example of how relationships can change a community. Over the past 17 years, Village2Village has invested in people, one child at a time, and in doing so, has brought incredible change to hundreds of families in a small village in Uganda. We have been involved since 2006 and have been privileged to sponsor several children as well as several adults who are medically fragile. It has been awe inspiring to see the way that the organization shifted gears during the pandemic to make sure the children and their families have enough food to eat as well as educational materials and teachers to provide small group instruction while schools are closed. We are so thankful for Village2Village!

Village2Village takes a young child in a vulnerable situation and supports them all the way through the completion of their academic career. This is so rare in child sponsorship programs and sets Village2Village apart from other organizations. I have chosen to be part of this nonprofit because of the lives that are changed. Not only are the lives of the individual children improved, but the family and the entire community are impacted by the fiscally responsible support of this ministry.

When I first started sponsoring a child, I thought it was like other organizations where you aren't sure what your child will really receive from you. Then one day I received a phone call from the Executive Director to tell me of some difficulties my child was having! Such personal care. It was so amazing! Then last year I was able to go and meet my sponsored child and see first hand how incredible this organization truly is. Their careful use of the resources allotted to them is so reassuring. Recently I was invited to join their board and I am honored to be part of this unique and life changing program.
