Review for Irving Schools Foundation, Irving, TX, USA
The Irving Schools Foundation (ISF) has provided assistance to the Jack E. Singley Law Enforcement program in a variety of ways. To begin, each year, the ISF provides grants to programs, students and individuals to allow them to pursue projects which enhances a student's learning experience. The ISF Grant program has allowed the Singley Academy Law Enforcement Police Explorers to attend the Texas Law Enforcement Police Explorers State Competition in Arlington, Texas for the previous three years. This competition challenges the students in a variety of law enforcement based scenarios. The competition permits the students to interact with law enforcement agencies at the local, state and federal level as well as youth from a multitude of law enforcement explorer programs across the nation.
Additionally, the ISF has provided excellent assistance to the Singley Academy Law Enforcement Advisory Board. The ISF guided the board and helped them to create a scholarship program to benefit the law enforcement students hoping to pursue a career in the criminal justice field. The ISF staff were very knowledgeable and kind as they guided the board through the creation of the scholarship.
