My Nonprofit Reviews

I was introduced to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in 2017 as a high school intern passionate about supporting the cause of breast cancer and eager to learn more about the business models that nonprofits follow. My time at NBCF was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The multiple professionals that I met in different departments like finance/accounting, programs, development etc... all exhibited the central mission of the organization: to Help Women NOW. I treasured every day that I was able to spend at this nonprofit because of the friendly and warm hearted nature of all of the employees and the valuable experience and knowledge that each of them had. To NBCF, it isn't about the number of sponsors or donors that they can accumulate. It's about the relationship that they establish with these donors and whether or not everything wraps back around to the company's mission statement. My internship at NBCF was a notable turning point in my life, and I believe that this nonprofit serves as a turning point in many individuals' lives around the world as well.
