Tucked in a little corner of Cherokee and Forsyth counties just north of Atlanta, Georgia, this non-profit makes a world of difference to the people and animals it saves. Not only do they provide a sanctuary for homeless horses and other farm animals, they have programs for adults and kids to educate, bring awareness and teach compassion. They do rescue right!

After attending a volunteer orientation where I learned how this rescue operates, toured the farm and met all the animals, I became an advocate for Save The Horses. Not only do they rescue horses, you will also find mules, ponies, donkeys and other farm animal on this beautiful property. They also rescue humans. The people who volunteer for this rescue put forth an incredible amount of time and energy to keep the farm running. They apparently get a huge return on their investment because they are truly dedicated. It's an amazing rescue operation. I hope to do more with Save The Horses in the future.
