I discovered the Mentoring Network through a teacher friend. I was recently retired and looking for an opportunity to volunteer. I met Donna, the administrator and was so impressed with her knowledge and enthusiastic spirit. I was in! Then I met my first mentee and we hit it off right away. I now have a second mentee as well and am happy to say we get along great too. Having the opportunity to have a positive impact on a child's life makes us both feel worthwhile and hopeful for what the future has in store. Also, I can't forget Gretta MN's admin. assistant. Her organization and communication skills keep MN running smoothly and effectively. She too cares so much about the mentees and it shows!
