I was a long-term business partner and now am an individual supporter of Ceres. Long before most institutions saw the important role of business in establishing a low carbon economy, Ceres recognized that companies were essential to this effort and worked to build a coalition of businesses, NGO’s and policy makers. That ability to envision the future and bring together all the key players continues to be a core strength for Ceres today. Another important role that Ceres plays is to keep all of the members honest about what they are doing and their potential to do more. Accountability and integrity are guiding principles of the organization and we all benefit from their outstanding work.
