Review for SIGN Fracture Care International, Richland, WA, USA
My husband and I have been volunteering at SIGN for quite a few years. We are also regular donors. We do this because we believe that their work makes lasting improvements in people's lives around the world and promotes development of local medical personnel who continue that work. We also believe in the integrity of the people who manage and develop the SIGN programs.
Review for SIGN Fracture Care International, Richland, WA, USA
My husband and I first heard about SIGN when we saw a news story on TV about their relief efforts for the 2010 Haiti earthquake. We weren't previously aware of this organization and their work, but were really surprised to see the impact of what they do and decided to start supporting them as donors and volunteers. SIGN Surgery isn't just a handout - it helps people get back to work so they can support their families.
Review for Blue Mountain Wildlife, Pendleton, OR, USA
My husband and I have been volunteers for almost two years. We've seen first hand the high level of commitment by the other volunteers, interns, and Lynn and Bob to the mission of rescue, rehab, and education. We are also donors, and have no doubts that our dollars are being stretched to the max. It's very rewarding to see the positive results of the work being done by Blue Mountain Wildlife.
