Open Book is my favorite CultureALL program. I love the idea of bringing people together for the opportunity to talk to someone new and different from you, even if it's just someone else in your community. My friend DJ Savarese featured in one, and while he struggled as an autistic person with meeting so many new people so quickly, he valiantly stayed as long as he could for the sake of sharing his story. Personally I sat with someone from Chicago and we discussed the beauties of Iowa that people from outside the state seem completely oblivious to.
