Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
Sarah Barnett personally helped with the elimination of the gas Chamber in Licking County Ohio by sharing the history of the fight to rid the county of a cruel warden who had been in place for 20 plus years. During he time he was in charge all kinds of animal cruelty had taken place as well as felony charges and that was just the beginning. By taking the time to talk with me and provide some history Sarah helped me come up with ideas on who to contact in order to form a group. The group I facilitated started a facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/pages/Get-Rid-of-the-Gas-Chamber-at-the-Licking-County-Animal-Shelter/288989943015?ref=tsand ) which now has almost 9000 members. The warden has resigned and Licking County shelter is open for adoptions and will no longer be gassing animals.
