This was an amazing experience. It's humbling to see the number of people who cannot afford meals for their families. I found myself hugging and talking to everyone I could. I saw people load food in suitcases, because it was easier to transport via the city bus. And everyone was so very thankful and nice to all of us volunteering that day. If you ever have a chance to donate a few hours of your time, this is definitely the place to volunteer. My whole family is going back to help with Thanksgiving. We all appreciate Minnie's Food Pantry. Thank you all for allowing me to experience all the good you do for our community and surrounding counties.
