Review for New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, Inc., Short Hills , NJ, USA
As a five-year volunteer with the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, I have been inspired by the commitment and camaraderie of the members. There is power is the unity of our diverse membership who are united in a common goal. I also appreciate that the Coalition is actively recruiting and developing young adults to continue this work. The Coalition recognizes the importance of developing the next generation of abolitionists.
Throughout the year, the Coalition hosts several hands-on trainings for high school and student leaders who gain hands-on experience in developing public education for their campuses. The Coalition welcomes students to serve on its five standing committees and runs a special internship program for undergraduate college students during the Winter Break. The Coalition also provides scholarships to college students interested in developing initiatives to fight human trafficking.
