My experience working with the Lake City Boys and Girls Club has been a great one! As a professional working with students on a daily basis during regular school hours, it is indeed a benefit to communicate and interact with some of the same students I teach after school so that greater rapport can be established. The opportunity all students have to develop social, teamwork, and life-management skills through interactions with peers and workers are limitless. I look forward to seeing how much impact I can help make in sharing my knowledge of academics, particular math, as well as any personal experiences that can be applicable to their own lives.
