Volunteering at this non-profit brings me absolute joy. They truly are the pillar of the community. They offer an incredible variety of classes that I have seen many individuals from the community enjoy. They offer an emergency food pantry along with giving out food every Thursday which is absolutely incredible. When I was there they were usually providing food to 10-15 families. The best part of my experience was talking to the director Sef. (Pretty sure I spelled that wrong, I'm sorry, really sorry, I lost your card with the correct spelling). Talking with him I was able to discover the passion for what I wanted to do with my life. For a while, I was pretty unsure what I wanted to do but I have happily applied for a federal law enforcement job. I just came here to knock out some hours but never expected to meet someone as incredibly inspiring and helpful as Sef. He truly does whatever he can to help the community and take the time with each person and any concerns they may have. Thank you.
