We lost my beloved Shaggy to cancer in November, 2017. We decided to wait until spring to adopt another dog but after one week of a too quiet house we knew we needed a dog. After searching high and low through Petfinder and local shelters I found what I thought was the perfect fit. I contacted Paws for Seniors and, after discussing my home situation they thought a different dog would be a better fit. I drove 8 hours from upstate NY to adopt Alexandra. They were spot on in their recommendation. Allie has fit in seamlessly to our home. She is blossoming into a happy, bouncy dog that you’d never guess was 12 years old. I will always miss my Shaggy but Allie’s love has greatly eased that ache. She is a kind and gentle dog and is the most curious dog ever! She has to get her nose ito everything, no matter what’s in the way. Thank you, Paws for Seniors, for your love and caring and for knowing that Allie was the one for our home.
