I am a first time cat owner and I am so glad I adopted my cats through SCRAM. At first I was planning to adopt just one kitten, Slinky, the last remaining kitten from a litter of 5 that was fostered in the home of a loving SCRAM volunteer. SCRAM cares deeply about cats and wants to make sure each cat finds the perfect home. They suggested I adopt 2 cats so that my kitten would have a companion. At first I wasn't sure -- but when I found out that Slinky's mother also needed a fur-ever home, I said yes!

My two young children are thrilled with our new pets. Both cats are healthy and extremely well behaved. It is clear the organization takes time to socialize and handle these animals in homes so they are highly placeable with adopting families like mine. The volunteer showed me how to clip claws and gave me tips on how to keep our new cats fit and happy. I really appreciate that SCRAM takes care to screen, educate and support adoptive families. They did an amazing job. We are in love with our adorable new kitties!
