DRBC's amazing staff is what makes this rescue so special. Volunteers spend endless hours and drive endless miles if necessary to help a dog in need. Throughout the process of rescuing, rehabilitating and eventually rehoming, all DRBC dogs regardless of their age or medical condition are treated with the dignity and love they deserve.

I have long been aware of the wonderful work performed by the DRBC to rescue, protect, care for, and rehome dogs who have, for whatever reason, lost their homes. Recently, however, I have started to truly appreciate the incredible dedication of the staff and volunteers who have opened their hearts and homes to these dogs in need. They work tirelessly, often traveling many miles or working into the wee hours in support of this cause.
Doxie Rescue is a true five-star organization run by earth angels. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking to foster or adopt one or more dachshunds of their own.
