Review for A New Hope Animal Foundation, Loomis, CA, USA
Excellent experience! New Hope rescued 2 lab mix sibling puppies at the local pound. My puppy and her brother were then adoringly photographed and displayed online with a video of them playing together -- and I fell in love. The New Hope representative spoke with me IN PERSON and quickly gave me the forms to fill out to apply for adoption. I could not bear separating the puppies (but could not take both) and asked my neighbor if she was interested in adopting the brother puppy. She was! The foster mother was superb. Between her and her pack of 3 dogs at her home they lovingly nurtured and sheltered these puppies for several weeks while they were fixed and ready to be adopted. Then the foster mother traveled 4 hours to our rural area to check out the 2 prospective new homes for the puppies and to deliver them personally. Could not have been a better experience-- highly recommended. I live in the country on 20 acres with a pond and work at home and have an ideal place for dogs. Despite these perfect features for a large dog, other rescue societies made it very difficult to adopt. New Hope takes the extra step to ensure quality homes for adoptable pets. I highly recommend A New Hope Foundation!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
See description above.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
No changes necessary!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They took the time to find out that I had an ideal home for a new dog. Other rescue societies did NOT have the time to call back personally, & did not want me to adopt a large dog if I did not promise to let the dog sleep in my bed!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
They were personable, committed, and they listened.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Rescue, foster, and find good homes for all the abandoned pets in their region.
Ways to make it better...
As long as they have the volunteers to keep doing what thye are doing-- thye do a great job.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Funds
One thing I'd also say is that...
I know other people who purchased pets from breeders b/c the rescue societies make adoption too difficult. There is more than 1 definition of a good home for a pet. This foundation understands that.
