CUMAC is amazing and meets an important and acute need in Paterson. It feeds thousands of people each month, it has a job training program, and it shares love and compassion as well as food. My husband and I have chosen just a couple of places to give deeply to (instead of giving less to a lot of places), and CUMAC is one of them. We know our gifts are being used to help actual people in need in immediate ways. We also are part of two community gardens that grow vegetables that CUMAC distributes along with its dry goods and frozen food. CUMAC is creative, resourceful, and willing to hear ideas and receive what people have to give.
