I was dragged into my first meeting kicking and screaming because one of my best friends wanted to go to this great support group that she had heard about. Once I was there I was hooked. They say when you have a child with special needs, you need to find your tribe. SASI Is just that. My daughter and I have made so many friendships since the day we started going to activities, birthday parties, family fun days, support groups… The list goes on and on. People who understand what it is that we are going through each day. There is never judgment there are never strange locks there are only open arms and shoulders to cry on. I am so very grateful for mine SASI “family”. I don’t know what I would ever do without them.
